Our team developed and managed a powerful comprehensive campaign strategy that highlighted Janani Ramchadran’s vision, creating a strong, memorable identity through targeted advertising and engaging social media campaigns. Our community outreach initiatives and newsletter campaigns cultivated trust and participation with voters, while the intuitive website provided easy access to her platform. Despite opposition from an independent expenditure supporting the other candidate, our strategic combination of paid media and robust field planning led to a decisive victory, with Janani winning 68.5% to 31.5%. Making her the first LGBTQ woman of color and first South Asian to serve on the Oakland City Council.
